La asociación británica VMARS convoca para el próximo viernes 6 de Junio con motivo del 70 aniversario del día del desembarco de Normandía, un encuentro informal con las siguientes bases:
D-Day 70th anniversary Nets on Friday June 6th 2014
On Friday 6th June VMARS are running informal Amplitude Modulation and CW/MCW Nets for vintage WWII equipment to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Allied invasion of Normandy in 1944. All users of vintage military equipment from the era are invited to join in and are encouraged to provide information about the equipment, it's likely use, units that may have operated it and any anecdotes about operators and the difficulties they had to overcome. The nets are for WWII AM and CW transmitters, but if you only have a receiver from the era, come on and tell us about that using any AM or CW transmitter that you have. All are welcome whether you are a VMARS Member or not.
